Banki Charchika Temple is an ancient Hindu temple located in Banki town of Cuttack district in the Indian state of Odisha. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Charchika, who is believed to be the embodiment of the supreme power and is worshipped in different parts of India under different names.
The main deity of the temple is a four-armed idol of Goddess Charchika, who is depicted in a fierce form, riding a lion and holding a sword and a shield.
The temple attracts a large number of devotees from different parts of India, especially during the annual Durga Puja festival, which is celebrated with great pomp and show.
The mandapa has a wooden ceiling and stone pillars. The wooden ceiling is adorned with Bhagavata Purana scenes, animal and bird depictions, floral motifs, and various other carvings and paintings
